Contact details such as phone numbers aren't available directly from the vehicle register. However, Traficom's authorized partners let you look up the owner's or holder's contact details once your plate number search has found a match.
Car accident history
Be careful when buying a used car – the seller may not tell you everything. A single accident or repair doesn't always leave a mark in the vehicle register, but the vehicle's details can still contain several warning signs worth checking.
For example, a previous plate number in the plate history may mean the car was once redeemed by an insurance company. The registration certificate may also mention the number of replaced parts if the car was repaired after a major accident.
